Yesterday's crappy weather is gone and its a beautiful sunny morning! We stopped in Twin Falls on the way home for a quick stop at Costco for gas, pizza and Sam got a wind breaker.
The ride from Twin Falls to Boise is the most boring 100 miles ever! I hate it! So much truck traffic! We arrived at home about 3:30. Pepper was glad to see us and everything seems to be in great shape.
Now to unpack. It was a great trip. We did everything we intended and then some. The car worked perfectly. Total miles was 2,430. Road trips have gone up in price. All the hotels are well above $100; its hard to get decent restaurant meal for less than $50; gas is $4 - 4.25/gal.
We belong to the Choice Hotels group, so whenever possible we stay at Comfort Inn, Baymont Inn or Quality Inn, and earn points.So we've earned enough points for a free room on our next trip.
